Supporting a business spanning 23 countries, with revenues well over €0.7Bn (and growing) and a strong track record of software development, this role sits at the center of our accounting function to deliver quality operation of our Fixed assets accounting processes and coordination of our asset accounting controls.

**Key job responsibilities**
- Setup up new fixed assets in the subledger as projects are completed and purchases made, inclusive of ensuring purchases being capitalized are in accordance with company policy
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations related to PPE, internally developed software and other intangibles
- Execution of month-close tasks such as depreciation runs, project settlements, and transfers of assets
- Prepare monthly recurring and one-time journal entries
- Preparation of deliverables for external audits as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Collaborating with global accounting teams to identify opportunities for enhanced standardization
- Work on ad hoc projects as needed

**Basic qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks in relation to PPE and Intangible assets
- Capable in managing and maintaining large Excel models
- Fluent in dealing with, analyzing and solving problems in large datasets such as system extracts
- Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced company
- Ability to work with tight deadlines under pressure, while maintaining close attention to details

**Preferred qualifications**

- ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification (we will support continuation of studies if part-qualified)
- Knowledge in SAP S/4 Hana Fiori app
