Position Overview:
A Biology Teacher is responsible for instructing students in various aspects of biology, including fundamental concepts, laboratory procedures, and scientific research methods. They facilitate learning through lectures, discussions, laboratory exercises, and other engaging activities, fostering an environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. Biology Teachers also assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs to ensure academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Development:

- Design and develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Integrate relevant technology, resources, and real-world examples to enhance learning experiences and engage students effectively.
- Classroom Instruction:

- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, demonstrations, and discussions to convey complex biological concepts and theories.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student comprehension.
- Laboratory Supervision:

- Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and investigations to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop practical skills.
- Demonstrate proper laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and ethical practices, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide guidance and support to students during experiments, encouraging collaborative learning and scientific exploration.
- Assessment and Feedback:

- Evaluate student performance through quizzes, exams, projects, and other assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted interventions to support individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and academic progress, communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues as needed.
- Professional Development:

- Stay informed about advancements in the field of biology, pedagogical best practices, and educational technologies through professional development activities and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to curriculum review and improvement initiatives.
- Engage in reflective practice, seek feedback from peers and supervisors, and pursue opportunities for professional growth and enhancement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or licensure, with specialization in biology or science education.
- Strong content knowledge in biology, including genetics, ecology, physiology, and evolutionary biology.
- Experience in teaching biology at the secondary or post-secondary level, with a demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency in instructional technology, educational software, and digital resources for teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
