Job Title: Associate Data Scientist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Associate Data Scientist to join our Emerging Tech Standard Delivery Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multifaceted environment, is eager to learn new technologies, and enjoys working across multi-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions. You will collaborate with specialists in machine learning, database development, and front-end engineering to build scalable, intelligent systems that drive business and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle and process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using Python and other tools.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve real-world business problems.
- Build automated data sourcing and extraction solutions from diverse formats (PDFs, HTML, XML, scanned documents).
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and support decision-making.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business collaborators to deliver impactful data products.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), pipeline tools, and visualizations for product design and development.
- Guide peers and business users on analytical tools, techniques, and standard methodologies.
- Maintain process documentation and support deployment of analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Certification in Data Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Solid grasp of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms (e.g., decision trees, random forests).
- Familiarity with NLP techniques (e.g., word2vec, embeddings, bag-of-words).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Exposure to REST APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and web scraping (HTML/CSS).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
- Understanding of prompt engineering and emerging AI technologies.
- Ability to work with large datasets and build scalable data pipelines.
- Experience in building and deploying end-to-end data science solutions in a production environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Superb communication and presentation skills.
