We are currently seeking an experienced Data Privacy Auditor to join our organization in Mumbai. As a Data Privacy Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with data protection laws, regulations, and best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of our data privacy policies, procedures, and controls.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive audits to assess the organization's adherence to data privacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Review and evaluate the organization's data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry best practices.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to data privacy and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
- Perform data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with new projects, processes, or technologies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, IT, and business teams, to ensure that privacy controls are implemented effectively.
- Develop and maintain audit frameworks, checklists, and templates to streamline the audit process and ensure consistency.
- Conduct internal training and awareness sessions to promote a culture of data privacy compliance within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving data protection laws, regulations, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for enhancing privacy practices accordingly.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review and follow-up.
- Assist in responding to data privacy incidents, breaches, or customer inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data privacy, data protection, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and PDPB, along with
- strong understanding of global privacy frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT, or CIPM are highly desirable.
- Experience conducting data privacy audits and assessments, including familiarity with audit methodologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in analyzing privacy risks, developing controls, and evaluating the effectiveness of privacy programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex privacy concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.

**Salary**: ₹350,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
