**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities Import and Export Logistics**
- **Customs and Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to customs regulations, import/export laws, and documentation requirements.
- Manage documentation such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and letters of credit.
- **Freight and Shipping Coordination**:

- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and carriers to arrange transportation.
- Optimize shipping methods (air, sea, road) for cost and delivery time efficiency.
- Monitor shipment schedules and address delays or discrepancies.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Coordinate with international suppliers and customers to manage order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with freight providers.
- **Risk Management**:

- Oversee insurance policies for international shipments.

**Local Logistics**

**Strategic Planning and Process Improvement**
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce logistics costs and improve service quality.

- Identify and implement process improvements for smoother import/export and local logistics operations.

**Qualifications and Skills Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on import/export and domestic operations.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with local transportation laws and regulations.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, customers, and service providers.
- Analytical mindset for problem-solving and optimizing logistics operations.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Experience in managing air conditioning systems or similar industrial products is a plus.
- Fluency in English & Kannada.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
