**Job opening for Tutors - Primary section / Secondary Section**

**Job Location**: Bandra, Mumbai

**About Aseema Charitable Trust**: Aseema is a Mumbai-based NGO that is committed to equipping children from marginalised communities with high quality, value-based education, enabling the development of their limitless potential. We run three municipal schools in Mumbai in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), and one school for tribal children in Igatpuri. Aseema reaches out to 4,400 children living in vulnerable circumstances in urban slums and tribal communities.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Read, imbibe and practice Aseema’s approach to education

2. Prepare teaching aids, plan games and activities and facilitate hands-on learning with the children in small flexible groups to reinforce skills.

3. Remediate small groups of children in reading, writing, and sometimes math.

4. Teach in an experiential manner and make learning relevant and meaningful for the children.

6. Assist in updating the remedial folder/ trackers for the learners.

7. Report the child’s progress to classroom teachers, supervisors, and Educational Directors.

8. Monitor all pull-out students with regular assessments.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
1. Graduates with ECC.Ed / D.Ed / B.Ed certification preferred.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of work experience preferred. Freshers with good communication skills can apply. Individuals looking for part-time employment can apply.
3. Able to build a rapport with children, and find creative ways to engage children.
