**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that patients receive quality treatments by attending OPD, emergency & accident cases and the administrative work of hospital, scheduling of staff duties, liaisons with visiting doctors and maintains hospital hygiene. Also to plan health camps & awareness sessions for school students, Employees/Workers & families in plant, Mines and the residents in nearby villages.

Job Context: UltraTech Cement Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of grey cement, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) and white cement in India. The company has consolidated capacity of 116.75 Million Tons Per Annum (MTPA)* of grey cement. UltraTech Cement has 23 integrated plants, 1 clinkerisation plant, 26 grinding units and 7 bulk terminals.

Manikgarh Cement Works has been a renowned plant in the cement industry for over three decades. The plant is strategically located at Gadchandur in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra State.

The plant with manufacturing capacity of 6.0 MTPA is equipped with cutting-edge automated technology and state-of-the-art equipment, which ensures energy efficient and pollution-free production of cement. The entire production is monitored by a Central Control Room, which ensures that the cement goes through numerous quality checks to maintain the highest quality standards. Also equipped with a 60 MW of captive thermal power plant for an uninterrupted power supply with synchronized support of grid power.

The unit has installed a single 7.7 Kms Over Head long Pipe Conveyor (LPC) for transportation of limestone from mines to the plant. LPC contributes in reducing material transportation cost as well as dust pollution involved with material transportation, ensuring zero spillage. LPC has been designed by CKIT South Africa & Elecon India with a rated capacity of 1500 TPH.

The unit has also installed a bucket ropeway of 7.64 Kms for transportation of limestone from mines to the plant,designed by Usha Brecko India.We got a Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 10.4 MW.

Major Challenges:
- The role requires a knowledge of compliances associated with the occupational health centre and a strong dedication towards profession and social upliftment to carry OHS activities.

Educating team about “I know my job”, “I know the hazards associated with my job and I applied control measures” & “I escalate to my senior” among manpower deployed in sections/department manpower including peer, WB & CL manpower
Timely conducting scheduled SO round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
Active participation in implementation of safety & attend TNI based training.
Ensure good housekeeping, limited use of power, no leakage of water. and reporting concerned if any abnormalities for corrective action
Ensure adherence to COVID precautions and guidelines issued by management time to time along with adherence of safety precautions on the site and off the site to be safe
Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
