Exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Precessional Group. We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage and streamline our financial operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

**Office timings are from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with a fixed 5-day working week**

**THE ROLE**:
**Role & responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Senior Bookkeeper, you will support the day-to-day finance functions of the business.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts as required.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with Indian and Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Ad hoc reporting and uploading invoices to the client portal.
- **EFFICIENCY, ACCURACY** and **ATTENTION TO DETAILS** are the most important traits we are looking for.
- Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and practices.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian and international bookkeeping.
- Exceptional level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness in all confidential matters.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Indian and Australian accounting regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation.
- Experience with Xero accounting software is a must.
