Academic Support-content and Coordination

We are seeking a dynamic **Academic Support - Content & Coordination** professional to assist an Australian college from India. This position goes beyond administrative tasks, focusing on **curriculum-related support**, **content development**, and **smooth academic operations**. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Curriculum & Content Development**:

- Collaborate with faculty to refine course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Assist in designing and updating educational resources that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline content creation and research.
- **Academic Coordination**:

- Coordinate class schedules, faculty assignments, and resource allocation.
- Support faculty in preparing academic calendars, organizing workshops, and managing student feedback loops.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and administrative departments to ensure timely resolution of academic issues.
- **Learning Management System (LMS) & Student Management System (SMS) Support**:

- Upload and manage course materials, student submissions, and grades.
- Generate reports on student performance and engagement for faculty review.
- Troubleshoot basic LMS/SMS-related concerns, escalating complex issues to IT when necessary.
- **Quality & Compliance**:

- Ensure all academic materials and processes meet institutional guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Maintain documentation for accreditation and audit purposes.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with faculty and administrative teams in both India and Australia, providing clear and timely updates.
- Participate in virtual meetings (occasionally aligning with Australian business hours).
- Foster a supportive learning environment by assisting faculty with instructional best practices and technology adoption.
- **Passion for Enabling People**:

- Demonstrate empathy and genuine interest in supporting both educators and students.
- Continually seek ways to enhance the teaching and learning experience through innovation and best practices.
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or any related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with LMS/SMS platforms and willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with or openness to using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for content creation.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in cross-cultural teams.
- **Organizational Abilities**: Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- **Passion & Drive**: A strong desire to empower faculty and students, with a continuous improvement mindset.

**Experience**
- Prior experience in instructional design, academic coordination, or curriculum development is highly advantageous.
- Freshers with a proven passion for education and strong content creation abilities are also encouraged to apply.
