**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage mining operations on-site, ensuring optimal productivity and safety.
- Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce the use of PPE and safety protocols.
- Maintain daily production and safety reports, logs, and statutory records.
- Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and senior management.
- Manage manpower and machinery efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Identify and report any operational or mechanical issues.
- Train and mentor junior staff and workers in safety and operational procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Valid **Foreman Certificate (Restricted/Unrestricted)** issued by DGMS.
- Minimum **3-5 years** of experience in opencast mining (iron ore/mineral preferred).
- Sound knowledge of **Mines Act, 1952**, and other mining regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in **Hindi ,English, Odia** is an advantage.
