Role & responsibilities :
- Assist the Mine Foreman and Mining Engineer in daily mining operations.
- Supervise drilling, blasting, loading, and transportation activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment and working areas.
- Maintain accurate records of production, manpower, and equipment usage.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or deviations to the concerned authority.
- Support environmental and sustainability initiatives within the mine.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Educational Qualification: Minimum ITI /Diploma with Mining Mate Certificate from DGMS.
- Experience: 4 -5 years in open-cast mining operations (preferably iron ore).
Certificate Required :
- Valid Mining Mate Certificate issued by DGMS .
