Borregaard’s innovation success is a result of world class in-house R&D and close co-operation between sales, manufacturing, customers and external institutes and universities in several countries. Strong innovation efforts is one of Borregaard’s strategic priorities and now we are looking for a Research Scientist to join our Agri team in India.

**Responsibilities**
The main areas of responsibility include:

- The Research Scientist is responsible for driving innovation and business development within Agri according to Borregaard’ s Innovation model
- Responsible for reporting technical activities according to standard procedures to global R&D and commercial management.
- Responsible for development and implementation of relevant test methods in our lab in India, including training of R&D-personnel.

**Qualifications**
- Postgraduate in Biotechnology/Agriculture Chemistry, preferably 5 years of Research experience. A PhD is preferred
- Technical & professional knowledge of plant nutrition, biotechnology, biostimulants, formulations, fertilizers, biologicals, seeds, animal feed and nutrition
- Fluency in English, oral and written

- A self-starter with the ability to follow through on your commitment
- Exceptional bench skills. Able to convert bench skills to commercial scale
- Willing to travel for field trials and customer support.
