**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide expert administration of iSeries/AS400 systems including configuration maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates to maintain system integrity.
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and policies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Must have 6 to 9 years of experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration.
- Should possess strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Should have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Nice to have experience in hybrid work environments and managing day shifts.
- Should be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
