**Role Purpose**
In order to facilitate the efforts of finance activities of the units, a dedicated resource is required to liaise and coordinate with multiple stakeholders like Division Finance team, Unit Finance Support, Banks, Internal & External Auditors etc.
**Role Summary**
The incumbent on this role necessitates the efforts on Unit finance supervise and leads financial and accounting processes to ensure adherence to statutory laws. Oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization. A Unit Finance Lead monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. He/She coordinates with the finance support staff and assists in goal setting and performance improvement of unit finance staffs.He/She also cross verifies the authenticity of finance support staff reports as submitted by the support staff to ensure accuracy in the reports. Liaising with banks and auditors will also fall under the purview of this role.
**Job Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities (TDR)**
i. Overall finance functioning at unit
i. Preparation of MIS reports
- costing, P&L, B/S, production monthly details, salary expenses, over all expenses & Costing, Cash Flow & Budgeting
iii. Preparation of Statutory Reports preparation - TDS, GST, IT, TCS
v. Statutory return filings - IT (Yearly), TDS (Quarterly), TCS (Quarterly), GST (Monthly), ITC 04 (Quarterly)
vi. Conducting Stock Audit - (Monthly stock taking -FG,WIP, RM)
vii. Monthly submission of stock statements to bank
viii. Salary Finalization -(Verification of pay sheet & Approval and submission to Unit director)
ix. Verification of Accounts payable invoices posted by finance supports and ensure zero error.
x. Closure of Monthly/Yearly Accounts and Accounts Finalization for yearly closing.
xi. Liasoning with Bank & Auditors which includes Yearly GST audit, IT audit data submission to statutory auditors and internal auditors.

i. Analyzes and suggests ways to improve efficiency and spending.
ii. Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
iii. Supports Corporate Controller and departmental managers with financial analysis, data and/or systems modifications and help.
iv. Suggest new policies and procedures in response to changes in unit operations.
**Job Specification**

**Education**: **M.Com**
**Experience: 5 Years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in the manufacturing sector. **.
**Skills**:
i. Ability to comprehend competencies of various finance support roles.
ii. Good oral & written communication skills (English).
iii. Previous experience or demonstrated ability to learn different finance platforms.
iv. Ability to negotiate with the bank and other financial institutions.
v. Multitasking and attention to detail.
vi. Time management and result orientation.
vii. Microsoft Office and other ERP tools in finance.

**Supervision & Monitoring**
This role will supervise & lead a team of finance support staff.

For the success of this role, the incumbent interfaces with the following:

i. Unit Director (For submitting of required finance reports/feedbacks and necessary approvals)
ii. UMC (For unit budgeting & finance related activities in plant)
iii. Unit HR (For HR related finance activities Ex: salary payroll, ESI, EPF)
iv. Finance Support Team (For routine finance works)
**External Stakeholders**
i. External Auditors & Govt bodies - IT, Sales Tax etc. (For Liasoning)
**Working Environment**
This role involves working from office mostly and involves very less travel except for liasoning.

**Growth Prospects**
With demonstrated success on the assigned role, the incumbent can move up the ladder to be given independent charges in Division finance.
**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
