Dir I, Supply Chain

**Key Responsibilities**: - Manage and oversee the work of multiple areas (demand planning & forecasting, overall inventory management (consignment & sales stocks), logistics & coordination with factories and warehouses, warehouse management, customs clearance, customer service, sales reporting administration) and of multiple locations. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department. - Manage spending related to supply chain activities within budget, including negotiations with internal and external parties - Manage the inventory levels within desired turnover ratio. - Identify, validate and implement within "plan, source, deliver/return" continuum (e.g., supply chain operational reference model) in multiple areas, functionalities, scope and/or locations that align with key business strategies. - Plan and direct complex activities with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams. - Manage Expiry & Obsolete inventory write-offs. - Identify opportunities and lead projects to improve warehouse management with high quality standards and operations related to product flow efficiency with cross functional teams. - Develop infrastructure including design training and processes and creating SOPs. - Other incidental duties. **Education and Experience**: - Bachelor's Degree in in related field Required. - Master's Degree or equivalent in in Material Management/ Supply Chain Management Preferred. - Other: Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred. **Additional Skills**: - Demonstrated track record in people management required. - Proven successful project management leadership skills. - Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, Advanced Planning Systems working with Demand Flow methodology). - Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making. - Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives. - Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English. - Extensive understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations. - Expert in medical device standards and policies related to supply chain. - Expert knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to supply chain. - Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills. - Ability to work in cross functional teams and collaborate with across functions / borders. - Demonstrated ability to manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations. - Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of supply chain to the business. - Strict attention to detail. - Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization. - Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment. - Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment. - Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
