**Role Overview**:
The university is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Modern Media and Entertainment to develop curriculum, content, and assessments in Media, Entertainment, Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Digital Media, Film Production, Mass Communication, and Broadcasting. The SME will

collaborate with academic and industry professionals to integrate cutting-edge technologies and industry trends into the learning experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and update the curriculum for animation, VFX, film production, and digital media as per university and industry standards.
- Develop high-quality study materials, tutorials, and practical assignments for industry-relevant skills.
- Create assessments and project-based learning modules to enhance student engagement.
- Collaborate with media houses, animation studios, and production companies for hands-on training opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with international media and entertainment industry standards.
- Incorporate AI, AR/VR, and motion capture technologies into academic programs.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- PG Degree/PG Diploma in Animation, Visual Effects, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Desirable: Experience in academia, animation studios, VFX production, or film/media industry.
- Expertise in 3D modeling, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and digital content creation.
- Proficiency in software like Adobe After Effects, Maya, Blender, Nuke, and Unreal Engine.
- Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, CGI, and real-time rendering.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills to mentor students effectively.
- Expertise in content development, validation, assessment design, and curriculum planning.
- Strong knowledge of higher and skill educational best practices.
