**Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Leadership**:
- Provide strategic direction for the development and delivery of the curriculum in alignment with **UGC** and **university** guidelines.
- Oversee the **academic standards**, ensuring that faculty members adopt innovative teaching methods, research-driven approaches, and industry-relevant content.
- Ensure a **student-centered teaching-learning process**, promoting active learning, case-based methodologies, and practical exposure through projects and internships.
**2. Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation**:
- Ensure full compliance with **UGC**, **State Government**, and other regulatory bodies' standards.
- Keep the institution updated with the latest policies and norms, implementing changes to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
**3. Faculty and Staff Management**:
- Oversee recruitment, development, and performance appraisal of **faculty and staff** to ensure academic excellence.
- Create opportunities for **faculty development programs (FDPs)**, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and research output.
- Ensure a **collaborative, ethical, and motivating work environment**, promoting teamwork and professional integrity.
**4. Student Welfare & Development**
- Ensure the implementation of student-centric policies, including **mentorship programs**, **career counseling**, and **grievance redressal mechanisms**.
- Support **student placement initiatives**, internships, and **industry partnerships** to improve employability and career growth.
- Promote extracurricular, co-curricular, and technical activities to foster **holistic development** of students.
**5. Financial and Resource Management**:
- Oversee the **budgeting**, **financial planning**, and **resource allocation** of the institution.
- Ensure **cost-effective management of resources**, including infrastructure, faculty, and administrative functions.
- Explore opportunities for **fundraising**, **corporate partnerships**, and **research grants** to augment financial resources.
**6. Governance and Leadership**:
- Ensure **transparency and accountability** in all institutional processes, fostering a culture of **good governance**.
- Represent the Polytechnic in **academic forums**, **government bodies**, and **industry associations** to promote the institution’s interests.
**Required Skills**:
- **Leadership and Vision**: Strong leadership, decision-making, and planning abilities to lead the institution towards academic and operational excellence.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interaction with faculty, students, industry partners, and external bodies.
- **Organizational and Administrative Skills**: Ability to manage administrative duties, budgets, and institutional operations efficiently.
- **Innovation and Research Focus**: Strong inclination towards fostering **research culture**, **industry collaboration**, and **innovation-driven learning**.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Familiarity with **digital tools**, **LMS (Learning Management Systems)**, **ERP systems**, and other educational technologies.
**Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications**:
- **Master’s degree in engineering/technology** or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- **Ph.D.** in **Research** or a **relevant field** is highly preferred.
- Must meet qualifications as per **AICTE/UGC norms**.
**Experience**:
- **10-15 years** of teaching experience in the **relevant field** (Engineering/Technology) at a recognized institution.
- Minimum **5-7 years** of administrative experience in leadership roles, such as **Department Head**, **Academic Coordinator**, or similar.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
