**Key Responsibilities**:
**Individualized Support and Instruction**
- Assess students’ learning needs and abilities to develop personalized learning strategies.
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address the specific needs of each student.
- Modify lessons, assignments, and tests to accommodate students with special learning needs.

**Collaborative Approach**
- Work closely with regular classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and classroom activities for students with special needs.
- Coordinate with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on students' progress and suggest strategies for supporting learning at home.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust educational plans as necessary.

**Behavioral Support**
- Implement behavioral intervention strategies to support students with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Track and document students’ behavioral progress, providing feedback to parents and school staff.
- Encourage positive behavior and social interactions within the classroom setting.

**Assessment and Monitoring**
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods and strategies as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of students’ academic achievements, behavioral observations, and participation in school activities.
- Provide recommendations for further assessments or interventions if required.

**Professional Development**
- Stay up-to-date with the latest special education research, teaching strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences to improve knowledge and skills in special education.
- Collaborate with other special educators and support staff to share resources and best practices.

**Classroom Management**
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
- Create a safe and structured environment for students with special needs to thrive academically and socially.
