Amritsar District Punjab, India Live Building Systems Full time

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Communication with other bookkeepers and accounts payable to collect
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with external accountants or CPAs for audits and tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial reports to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws/regulations
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Help with compliance for the Indian office

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Able to communicate in English - advanced or fluent speaking
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks, Payroll (Coadvantage), Multiple State Sales Tax, VendorCafe
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Relevant certification will be preferred

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Amritsar District, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
- QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
