Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Prepare and deliver engaging math lessons in accordance with the school curriculum for grades 3 to 7.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, including direct instruction, hands-on activities, and interactive learning tools, to meet students' varying learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and productive classroom environment that encourages student participation, inquiry, and critical thinking.
- **Curriculum Implementation**:

- Teach core mathematics topics including number theory, arithmetic, geometry, measurement, fractions, decimals, algebra, and data handling.
- Ensure all students meet or exceed grade-level expectations for mathematics skills and knowledge.
- Provide additional support and enrichment for students who require more challenging or remedial lessons.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:

- Regularly assess student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and informal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and performance.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, and prepare reports for parents and school administrators.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain an organized and respectful learning environment.
- Encourage student responsibility and independence while promoting collaboration and teamwork.
- Handle student behavioral issues according to school policies and procedures.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and other school events as required.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall success of students.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with the latest developments in mathematics education and teaching strategies.
- Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and school meetings to continuously improve teaching skills.
- Actively contribute to school initiatives, projects, and committees.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A teaching certification or license for the appropriate grade levels (if applicable).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the elementary or middle school level (Grades 3-7).
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts, including both basic arithmetic and more advanced topics.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying levels of ability and learning styles.
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools for enhancing math instruction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for teaching young learners.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics (optional).
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and learning technologies (e.g., interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms).

Working Conditions:

- Full-time or part-time position, with the exact schedule depending on the school’s needs.
- Work in a classroom setting with students in grades 3-7.
- Occasional after-school hours for meetings, conferences, and professional development.

Pay: ₹12,437.90 - ₹16,000.00 per month
