Soft Skills Trainer

Role Summary

Design, develop and deliver Soft Skills training curriculum for the Global Support and Services organization. Should be able to develop course handouts, workbooks, and trainer notes and conduct assessments.

What You Will Do
- Presenting training sessions that are engaging and interactive to help participants retain information.
- Conducting needs assessments to understand what employees already know and what they need to learn next.
- Good Interpersonal skills and willingness to work in global time zones.
- Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual.
- Deliver training course content for both classroom and online webinars.
- Implementing language and culture modules training to new hires and on a recursive basis to agents on the floor.
- Develop and retain an up-to-date knowledge of current working practices by periodically working with the Service Delivery teams.
- Carry out course monitoring and evaluation by ensuring the collection of completed participants' course reports and completion of a training report at the end of each event.
- Evaluate options for training delivery to determine the best method to get the outcomes needed.
- Ensure that all training materials are produced to a professional standard and comply with Company standards.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in Learning and Development
- Maintain the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
- Travel to other Sophos offices to deliver training courses when needed.
- Coordinating with other respective team members of the organizations and training department to develop and deliver training programs.
- Providing individualized instructions to employees who need help mastering new skills or improving existing skills to perform their jobs more effectively.
- Be ready to support engineers in getting over their learning curve.
- Participate in team huddles and give communication updates.
- Responsible for networking with the team, operations, and any other division from time to time.
- Assist HR/Operations in the recruitment and selection process for new hires if needed.

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (B. A. English), Master of Arts (M. A. English), Bachelor’s degree with Commerce (B.Com), or any bachelor’s degree or education in instructional design or related field.
- Excellent understanding of grammar, verbal, and written communication.

- Two years’ experience in teaching English language, including experience as a Trainer.
- Creating resources to support learning objectives, such as handouts, workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, videos, or podcasts.
- Should have good knowledge about the training and understanding of the language (Grammar and Pronunciation)
- Experience in mentoring peers or onboarding new hires with additional soft skills training.
- Experience in solving multi-faceted problems in relevant domains and identifying problems and issues.
