A Laser Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting or engraving machines used in manufacturing and production. Their key roles and responsibilities include:
1. Machine Setup & Operation
- Setting up laser cutting, engraving, or welding machines based on job specifications.
- Loading and unloading materials such as metal, wood, acrylic, or plastic.
- Adjusting laser settings like speed, power, and focus for precise cutting or engraving.
- Running test cuts to ensure accuracy before starting full production.

2. Quality Control
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Measuring and verifying dimensions using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools.
- Identifying and correcting defects or inconsistencies in laser-cut parts.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Performing routine maintenance on laser machines (e.g., cleaning lenses, replacing parts, checking alignment).
- Troubleshooting issues such as misalignment, inconsistent cutting, or software errors.
- Reporting and coordinating repairs with the maintenance team if necessary.

4. Safety & Compliance
- Following safety guidelines when operating laser machines to prevent accidents or damage.
- Wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) like safety glasses and gloves.
- Ensuring the work area is free from hazards and properly ventilated.

5. Documentation & Record-Keeping
- Maintaining records of machine usage, maintenance, and job specifications.
- Logging production data, including material usage, job completion times, and errors.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, or work orders.

6. Collaboration & Communication
- Working closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure proper execution of designs.
- Communicating issues or improvements needed in the production process.
- Assisting in training new operators or apprentices.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
