**Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement a comprehensive English language and literature curriculum aligned with academic standards and learning objectives. Design engaging lessons, activities, and assessments that promote language acquisition, reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and literary analysis.
- **Instructional Delivery**: Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that engage students and promote active participation. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and interests. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
- **Literary Analysis**: Teach students to analyze and interpret literary texts, including novels, short stories, poems, plays, and non-fiction works. Guide students in developing critical reading skills, identifying literary devices and themes, and constructing evidence-based arguments in written and oral presentations.
- **Writing Instruction**: Provide instruction and support in writing skills, including grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and essay composition. Teach students to write effectively for different purposes, audiences, and genres, including narrative, expository, persuasive, and analytical writing.
- **Language Skills**: Develop students' proficiency in English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Provide opportunities for oral communication, pronunciation practice, vocabulary expansion, and language fluency development.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, tests, and projects to measure student progress and achievement. Evaluate student work using clear and consistent criteria and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Monitor student performance and adjust instruction as needed to address individual learning needs.
- **Student Support**: Provide academic support and guidance to students, including tutoring, remediation, and enrichment activities. Offer personalized instruction and interventions for students with diverse learning needs, including English language learners and students with learning disabilities.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning. Set clear expectations, routines, and behavioral norms for student conduct. Implement effective classroom management strategies to address student behavior and maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
- **Parent Communication**: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress, academic performance, and behavior. Collaborate with parents to support student learning and address any concerns or issues that arise.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional development activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and literature studies, and fulfill continuing education requirements.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
