**Roles and Responsibility
Job Description
- Private Cloud network engineer, primary Microsoft Azure secondary IBM Cloud. Familiarity with on premise connection to private cloud, including network on ramp/exchanges and Azure/IBM cloud circuits such as direct link and express route. Familiarity with configuration and support of Azure AVS as primary, and IBM Cloud VCS secondary, both on VMware NSX technology. Skills to design, build, and support operationally are required.
- Work with customers and project teams to identify, research, and recommend cloud-based network technologies that meet the customer’s requirements
- Troubleshoot internal and external network and cloud-related issues and provide recommendations.
- Able to work as part of a team and individually
- Operationalize and deliver engineering documentation and knowledge transfer sessions to tier-1 support teams

Qualifications and Education Requirements

8+ years of infrastructure experience
- 5+ years in data center network engineering and support
- 2+ years in cloud engineering and support
- Extensive experience with multi-cloud architecture in a network
- Experience troubleshooting multi-cloud networks
- Experience with network infrastructure services, including routing protocols, IPsec VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, NAT, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, Route53, PrivateLink
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with enterprise change and release management processes and requirements.
- Ability to be available on call as part of a rotation supporting high-priority incidents
- Certification in at least one of the cloud providers (preferably Azure, or IBM Cloud. GCP/AWS, and OCI also relevant “nice to have”)
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills

Desired Experience
- Scripting and automation of tasks with Python and cloud libraries including boto3.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services including ExpressRoute and VNETs.
- Experience with IBM Cloud services including Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VCS, Bare Metal, IBM Cloud classic networking, VPC.
- Experience with Vmware network virtualization technologies including NSX-T and/or NSX-V network fabric.
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments

8+ years of infrastructure experience
