Medical Laboratory Technician

**JOB DESCRIPTION** 1. Check for GCMS samples whether it’s properly run and ask to JSO to convert it in CDF format and raised QMS for the same. 2. Check for the pending mails 3. Send MIS for sample received day to day to higher authorities. 4. Supervision of sample processing, right from sample acceptance till transfer of results. 5. Technical report Interpretation after the processing of the samples and second checking of report for its correction. 6. Preparing and guiding JSO s in reagent preparation. 7. Preparing and updating SOPs etc under supervision. Reviewing documents prepared by JSOs 8. Updating and verify the IQC record ILC record for NABL. 9. Supervising and guiding JSO s in Equipment maintenance and proper filling of log book/ log sheets, equipment/ test calibrations and troubleshoot maintenance submit reports to reporting manager. Documenting and implementing PM Calibration schedules for particular Equipments. 10. Checking the actual needs and forwarding request to reporting manager. 12. Integral secondary job duties include training the new joiners, back up for JSOs / SSOs. 13. Training of JSOs & helping them whenever required. Training for other lab staff. 14. Checking for proper filling of log sheets. To maintain the yearly logbook file. 15. Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced - inventory records 16. Monitoring the Routine Reporting and positive communication through mail. 17. To do analysis for samples and draw a reports in the absence of reporting manager 18. Maintaining the quality guidelines as per NABL. 1 **Prosessing** **Daily genrate the MIS.** Efficient processing of samples( frequency No of repeats and batch reprocess Frequency of errors and NC in processing(reagent missing/wrong plating Maintaining TAT(processing stages) & Managing sample load Other associated technical work(any initiatives, standardization work, research work Client communication for crtical sample. Primary or Basic troubleshooting like our Utica and Plims software 2 **Chemical/Reagent preparation** **Monthly order to stock inventry and inform to the HOD** **Manage the Inventry.** Effcient preparation of reagents Stock updates (consumables and chemicals Effective planning of requirement of reagents required to carry out sample processing. proper checking of labeling Registers maintain of all reagents and update the all document like ( Reagent lot to lot) Preparation of in house controls as per the requirements. 3 **Maintenance/Troubleshooting in Laboratory** Primary or Basic maintenance of instruments Maintenance of the equipment used for carrying out day to day process. E.g. proper handling of pipettes Day to day cleaning-work station. E.g. working bench, refrigerator etc. Regular checking and monitoring of the functioning of instrument Primary or Basic troubleshooting for instrument. updating and record the maintenance and troubleshooting as per protocol Projects undertaken and deadlines followed for the completion Maintenance/Troubleshooting regarding telephonic communication to engineer 4 **Reporting** following TAT and timely report generation( all negative reports) Positive report generation under the HOD effective query handling - reports handling if any Identification of report related issues(any corrections or ambiguity identified 5 **Training** Monitoring Effective knowledge transfer to new joinee. (Buddy system) induction training and prepare the doucment of new joinee 6 **Quality** Filling Log sheets and maintain the record (posilive sample and sample storage file) overall quality indicators IQC update and cheking day to day eg.(Daily Qc run and update the master excel) Moniter to all Instrument calibrations due like AMC/CMC/PM Records updating Monitoring overall quality parameters daily cheking for QC data,reagent and the quality doucument Process the EQAS sample and inform to the HOD Processing of quality and internal documents, compilation of reports and data as required. 7 **Code of Conduct - Laboratory** Overall behavior and attitude Team work Adherence to policy (All Lab protocols-Lab Coats, Head Caps, Gloves etc) **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance - Provident Fund Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Morning shift - Rotational shift **Experience**: - total work: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
