Job Title : Laboratory Technician

Department : HEAMTOLOGY

**1.0 Responsibilities**:
1.1 Supervising calibration and control of all parameters tested in the laboratory and taking approval of Lab In charge or HOD.

1.2 Keeping and maintaining stock of reagents and consumables used in the department in co-ordination with stores.

1.3 Maintaining records of Instrument maintenance, calibration, controls, Levy-Jennings

chart, break-downs, outsource tests records, stock of kits/ materials used in department. Run all QC for assign instrument - Centaur XP, Centaur XPT, Cobas Intigra, Cobas E411, Tosoh 48, Sensa Core, Immunolite 1000 and other machines also which will be added in future.

1.4 Supervise and guide subordinate staff

1.5 Perform testing as and when required & Maintain TAT for All test.

1.6 Supervise & ensure housekeeping & disposal of wastes.

1.7 Maintain harmonious environment in the department.

1.8 To prepare standard operating procedures for the tests undertaken.

1.9 Managing calibration and control of parameters performed in the department.

1.10 Handling of non conformity product and taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions in liaison with top management.

1.11 Trouble shooting of instruments and tests performed.

1.12 To attend MRM.

1.13 To ensure effective implementation & maintenance of QMS.

1.14 To identify training needs of the supporting staff.

1.15 To resolve customer (Lab or patients) complaints.

1.16 To ensure calibration/verification of test equipments/instruments.

1.17 To ensure effective utilization of available resources.

1.18 To ensure testing/examination of samples as planned.

1.19 Coordination/follow up regarding upload test samples to Ahmedabad.

1.20 Coordination/follow up with other lab.

**2.0 Authority**

1.0 To access daily QC, EQAS, Intra lab materials & related records.

2.0 To maintain records of materials & kit requirements, stock & supervise all such

activities.

3.0 To handle break-down of instruments & manage to solve the problem keeping in touch with authorized Organization personnel or engineers.

4.0 To access sectional SOP, Forms & formats, other methods & equipments & make up-gradation as & when required.

**3.0 Key Result Area**

1.0 Training schedule for continuing education of existing as well as new staff.

2.0 QC requirement, result, material shall be fulfilled & thorough verification of all such

areas.

3.0 Daily maintenance of Room temp. records, Instrument calibration & control records, breakdown & waste disposal records etc.

**4.0** During breakdown manage effective communication of reporting status to all concerned departments & make sure that customers should not suffer.

**Salary**: ₹9,500.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
