**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production staff, engineers, and other quality control personnel to identify and resolve quality issues.

**Key Responsibilities Area & Duties**
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for all stages of production.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality problems.
- Document and report quality control activities.
- Maintain accurate quality control records.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our quality management system.
- Work effectively with production staff to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest quality control methods and technologies.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**

**Education required**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related technical field

**Knowledge required**
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems (a plus).
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Experience required**
- The role requires 4 - 6 years of experience in production management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing and optimizing Quality, preferably within the chain manufacturing industry

**Technical Competencies**
- Proficiency in various inspection techniques relevant to Tripcon's products
- Dimensional inspection using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Visual inspection for defects in materials and workmanship.
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques (ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, etc.) for certain products.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures specific to Tripcon's products and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards for conveyor chains and sprockets.
- Working knowledge of Tripcon's manufacturing processes for conveyor chains, sprockets, and other components. This includes understanding different stages of production, potential quality risks at each stage, and control points for inspection.
- Ability to use measuring instruments effectively and accurately.
- Competency in basic statistical process control (SPC) techniques to analyze quality data and identify trends..
- Depending on the complexity of Tripcon's products, knowledge of specific testing equipment for chain strength, wear resistance, etc., could be an asset.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement in the quality control process and suggest solutions.
