Job Description: NPD Engineer-2

Location: Pune

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NPD Engineer to join our team in

Pune. As an NPD Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to

pattern die development, inspection gauges/fixtures, machining processes,

supplier management, project timeline monitoring, and quality data

preparation and monitoring.

**Responsibilities**:

- Initiate RFQ (Request for Quotation) for pattern die development,

obtain quotes, and finalize die cost.
- Arrange for the release of purchase orders (PO) for pattern die

production.
- Provide inputs for casting model development and verify the casting

model for tool making.
- Perform tool rework and modifications as needed.
- Initiate RFQ for inspection gauges/fixtures, obtain quotes, and finalize

the cost.
- Arrange for the release of purchase orders (PO) for inspection

gauges/fixtures.
- Provide inputs for third-party inspections, including chemical,

mechanical, micro, hardness, and NDT testing (RT/MPI/UT).
- Coordinate inspections using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

and profile measurements.
- Finalize machining suppliers in collaboration with SCM (Supply Chain

Management) based on customer-specific requirements.
- Define and validate machining processes.
- Conduct Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) along with

SCM and Quality personnel.
- Monitor dispatch compliance and ensure on-time delivery as per

target.
- Identify opportunities for machining cost improvement.
- Work towards reducing die and machine fixture costs.
- Develop inspection gauges and R gauges as required.
- Visit suppliers and customers as needed.
- Re-standardize machining processes as necessary.
- Coordinate the creation of casting drawings with external parties and

obtain customer approval when required.
- Monitor project timelines using monitoring sheets and compare

against actual progress.
- Prepare and monitor Quality of Service (QOS) data.
- Prepare and monitor PMS data
