Quant Analytics Associate

As a Quant Analytics Analyst in the Chase Data team, you play a key role in enabling business innovation by ensuring data is clearly documented, of high quality, and well-protected. You collaborate with technology and business partners to deliver data that supports business objectives, analytics, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with firmwide policies.

**Job responsibilities**
- Define metadata and classifiers for data critical to the business area
- Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle
- Develop operational procedures for delivering data to support business operations and analytics
- Document data requirements to ensure understanding across teams and functions
- Partner with technology and business resources to investigate and remediate data issues
- Lead development and reporting of operational performance metrics and KPIs
- Create self-serve tools to provide real-time information to decision-makers

**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Four years industry experience in a data-related field
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
- Hands-on experience with at least four of SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx
- Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture
- Experience writing code and automating data sourcing, transformation, and analysis
