**Job Title**: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Chemistry
**Reporting To**: Head of Department / Principal
**Location**: Kaushik Public School, Bhaganpur-Haridwar Road, Near Roorkee, District Haridwar
**Employment Type**: Full-Time / Contractual / Permanent (as applicable)

**Job Purpose**:
To effectively deliver the Chemistry curriculum to students of Classes 11 and 12, fostering scientific temperament, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of biological concepts. The teacher is expected to prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance examinations (e.g., NEET), and instill a love for learning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and interactive Chemistry lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and teaching aids.
- Conduct lab sessions and supervise practical experiments.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance tests.
- Maintain student discipline and classroom management.
- Participate in curriculum development, workshops, and school events.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians during PTMs and maintain regular communication.
- Use modern teaching tools such as smart boards, digital platforms, and educational apps.
- Stay updated with recent developments in the field of Chemistry and pedagogy.
- Contribute to extracurricular science activities, clubs, and science fairs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational**:

- Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is **mandatory**.
- **Certifications (optional but preferred)**:

- CTET qualified (if applicable to institution type - especially CBSE-affiliated schools).
- Additional certifications in education technology or pedagogy.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, MS Teams).
- Classroom management and student engagement techniques.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
