**Job Title**: Waiter/Waitress

**Location**: Nungambakkam, Chennai.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our restaurant team. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a satisfying dining experience by providing excellent customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and accommodating any special needs or requests. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will represent our restaurant with professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Answer any questions about the menu, daily specials, or dietary options.
- Offer recommendations to help guests make informed menu choices.
- **Order Taking and Serving**:

- Take orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Monitor table progress, promptly addressing guests’ needs and requests.
- **Table Management**:

- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Keep tables clean and organized throughout the meal.
- Clear dishes and glasses as needed to maintain a tidy dining area.
- **Knowledge and Compliance**:

- Possess a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary information.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food and beverages are handled safely.
- Comply with all policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work seamlessly with kitchen staff and other restaurant team members to ensure efficient service.
- Communicate special instructions or allergy notes to the kitchen staff.
- **Payment Processing**:

- Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy.
- **Upselling and Enhancements**:

- Recommend additional items, such as desserts or wine pairings, to enhance the guest experience.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous Experience**: Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Friendly, attentive, and able to manage difficult situations calmly.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to multitask and handle various demands during busy shifts.

Age Criteria : Should be between 18-30 Years

**Work Environment**: Busy restaurant setting with varying noise levels and fast-paced service expectations.
