**Key responsibilities**:

- The job involves checking and correcting mechanical errors and inconsistencies.
- Infelicities of grammar, usage, and syntax punctuation and errors in content following publisher guidelines or other style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and MLA.
- Ensure timely delivery &amp
- Meet quality standards as set for the role
- The copy editor is also expected to work closely with authors and the publisher to produce high-quality books that meet the needs to the intended audience
- The job also involves liaising with the author, getting the copy edited files reviewed from them
- cleaning up the author-reviewed copy edited files and delivering them on time.

**Requirements and skills**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Specialized in Style editing, Copy Editing.
- Hands-on in Rule set and Style Guidelines
- Quick learning capabilities with an eye for detail
- Strong analytics skills to make data-driven decisions to solve problems
- Adapting mindset to deal with change and being open to new ideas
- Solid time management and task organization skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
