**ROLE SUMMARY**:
**Field Officer, Programs** will be responsible for supporting the implementation of program in the assigned locations. S/he will also provide technical support to the community mobilizers for quality implementation of the program.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Be responsible for implementing program plans, including to specific themes, and monitor project activities and compliances at the field level.
- Coordinate with health department, community based organisations and government departments/ officials in the villages and the district of the project area.
- Coordinate and establish linkages with District and Block officials and others to ensure support to deliver project requirement.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training programs and related activities for stakeholders and project staffs.
- Manage trainings, do regular field visits and provide handholding support to community mobilizers of respective districts.
- Be responsible for project management - budgeting, planning and general monitoring of the project.
- Facilitate monthly review of the project team, reporting and documentation, MIS, facilitate rapid assessments of services of CHC and PHC. Organize periodic meetings with communities and with the team. Organise workshops at district level as per need of the project.
- Coordinate with the State and National team for smooth implementation of the project and for any advisory support.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**:
- A Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in social work/ Allied Sciences with 5 years of field experience in the developmental field.
- Experience of working on health projects would be an added advantage.
- S/ he must have experience of working with NGOs and Government officials.
- S/ he will be stationed in the district/ convenient to project location and needs to travel extensively for field visits across the operational blocks.
- Organized, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual.
- Sound skills in written and spoken English is a must.
- Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
