Roles & Responsibilities:
Create 3D models of mechanical assemblies using Inventor CAD software.
- Create and update user manuals for internal assembly team and external customer use.
- Perform some basic calculations.
- Prepare and provide customer quotes based on pricing templates.
- Occasionally support production team with drawing or assembly clarifications.
- Review purchase orders and technical documents for accuracy
- Gather project data from regional sales team
- Manage schedule and planning information for large projects and proactively find required information
- Maintain data in SAP, Sharepoint, 3D PDM, etc.
- Manage documentation for part number creations, BOMs, etc.
- Monitor documentation transmission cross-functionally between customer, sales, procurement, customer service, and engineering to ensure timeliness of project phases
