Derivatives Trader

The Derivatives Trader is involved in day-to-day derivatives trading activities that include executing trading activities in line with trading plans, and monitoring trade portfolio positions and market conditions. He/She possesses a sound understanding of the commodity market to facilitate trade portfolio optimisation and effective trading activities
- Adhere to trade controls guidelines to safeguard organisation's derivative positions.
- Assist in reviewing records and information to determine work effectiveness.
- Consult colleagues preparing contracts to customise contracts based on terms agreed in derivative trades.
- Execute derivative trades that are within permitted rates in line with portfolio objectives.
- Initiate good business relationships with trade counter-partners.
- Monitor derivative exchanges by tracking movements in exchange indices and real-time news to spot intra-day, short-term and long-term trading.
- Operate new technologies, electronic tools and devices.
- Perform appropriate derivatives valuation modelling techniques.
- Perform derivative trades with commodities trading team to manage trade risk.
- Prepare periodic trade portfolio status reports.
- Support continuous work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
- Trade with over-the-counter partners to structure derivative trades.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Supplemental Pay:
- Performance bonus
