Duties and Responsibilities:
Medication Dispensing: Pharmacists are responsible for accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients. This involves interpreting and verifying prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and ensuring the correct dosage and administration instructions.

Medication Counseling: Pharmacists provide essential information to patients about their medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, interactions with other drugs or foods, and any necessary precautions.

Medication Management: They may work with healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens, adjust dosages, or suggest alternative treatments when necessary. This includes monitoring and assessing patients' responses to medications.

Patient Consultation: Pharmacists often engage in one-on-one consultations with patients to answer questions, address concerns, and provide guidance on managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, or asthma.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Recommendations: Pharmacists can recommend and provide guidance on OTC medications and healthcare products to address minor health issues.
