**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Welfare and Discipline**:

- Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all students residing in the hostel.
- Enforce discipline and create a conducive environment for study and personal development.
- Counsel students and address any personal, social, or disciplinary issues, coordinating with the college’s counseling team when necessary.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain updated records of students in the hostel, including attendance, medical records, and emergency contact details.
- Oversee room allocation and ensure smooth occupancy management.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes for students.
- **Safety and Security**:

- Ensure hostel premises are safe and secure, coordinating with security personnel and conducting regular inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, ensuring students’ safety and quick resolution of issues.
- Maintain awareness of any security risks, taking preventive measures and enforcing strict entry/exit protocols.
- **Facility Management**:

- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel premises, including common areas, bathrooms, and rooms.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs in collaboration with the facilities department.
- **Support Services**:

- Collaborate with dining and housekeeping services to maintain quality standards for meals and sanitation.
- Facilitate medical assistance and first aid when required, and coordinate with local medical facilities for emergencies.
- **Parent Communication**:

- Act as the liaison between parents and the college administration regarding student welfare, behavior, and any incidents.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); relevant certification or diploma in hostel/administrative management is a plus.
- Previous experience in hostel management or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of young adult psychology.

**Working Hours**: This is a residential position with on-call responsibilities, requiring availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

**Compensation**: Competitive salary with accommodation and meals provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
