Barista

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages (e.g., espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews) to company standards.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewers.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the coffee bar and service area.
- Manage inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies; restock as needed.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Engage with guests and provide product recommendations or upsell items.
- Assist in cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sweeping, and garbage disposal.
- Support team members during busy periods or shifts as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for coffee, service, and hospitality.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Latte art or specialty coffee experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Basic food safety or barista certification is a plus.
