**Job Title: Merchandiser**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Development**:

- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop new home têxtile products in line with market trends and customer preferences.
- Source and evaluate potential materials and suppliers to ensure the highest quality and cost-effectiveness.

**Supplier Management**:

- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to optimize cost and delivery timelines.
- Conduct regular supplier assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and ethical sourcing practices.

**Order Coordination**:

- Work closely with production teams to coordinate the manufacturing process, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.

**Quality Control**:

- Implement and oversee a comprehensive quality control process, conducting regular inspections of samples and finished products to uphold brand standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures as necessary.

**Market Analysis**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to make informed recommendations for product development and merchandising strategies.

**Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment in product development and merchandising strategies.
- Provide support for marketing initiatives by offering insights into product positioning and market trends.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser in the home têxtile industry.
- Strong understanding of product development, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry software.

- 10:00 -6:30 pm
- Work days
- 2nd & 4th Saturday off ( Depending on the work load)

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
