**Job Title**: System Administrator (US)

**Location**: Mohali
**Experience**: 2-5 Years

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic.
- Perform routine backups, disaster recovery planning, and system updates.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system improvements and automation.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience managing Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange servers.
- Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Microsoft/Azure certification is a plus.
