**Summary**:
We are looking for talented and ambitious Cloud Infrastructure Architects to support our Technology and Innovation Project Portfolio, and Service developments.

**The Role**:
As an IT Architecture specialist, you have the chance to shape and contribute to the overall SAP Private Cloud Services strategy, delivered to our customers via the RISE with SAP offering. You will execute hands-on technical engineering exercises to drive Portfolio and Service enablement and consult Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Architectural activities based on direct customer communication. Due to the central nature of the team, you will have many touchpoints throughout the organisation. Good collaboration skills are essential, as you will be a key contributor in nurturing the technological progress in SAP.

**What you’ll bring**:
Possessing a wide coverage of Cloud Infrastructure knowledge, with a conceptual understanding of diverse deployment models and a clear understanding of cloud architectural concepts, you will be capable of crafting zonal, regional, and other high-availability architectures. Your excellent architectural knowledge extends to the intricacies of Linux, and many other supporting technologies, covering cloud native automation functions (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Azure functions) combined with scripting / programming language knowledge (Perl, Python, node.js, Angular, PowerShell, etc.)

Knowledge on differing types of cloud infrastructure services (Most importantly: compute, storage, network, security), and how they are typically integrated.
Troubleshooting skills and knowledge encompassing all aspects.

Position is also suitable for graduates with high interest in Cloud Infrastructure architecture, preferably with technical education background, automation, and cutting-edge cloud technology we want to leverage as part of our innovation culture. Willingness to learn and flexibility are key critical factors for being successful in this position.

Professional level fluency in both written and verbal English language.

**Tech you'll learn.**

You will engage closely with Hyperscaler Engineering teams to drive leading edge technology projects that empower our customers with the latest innovations. Your role involves shaping the Technical Roadmap to meet industry vertical requirements, guiding development and execution strategies. Understand how we drive Private Cloud services in ECS through our automation tool chain and help to support the development of this tool chain to meet our growing customer needs.
