Role Overview:

As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Youll work across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments to ensure high availability, security, performance, and automation of infrastructure services. You will also collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud-native application delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Design and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  • Maintain and manage cloud networking components (VPC, subnets, routing, VPNs, security groups)

Automation & DevOps

  • Automate operational tasks and workflows using tools like Ansible, PowerShell, or Python
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
  • Integrate infrastructure with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)

Performance & Monitoring

  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, cost inefficiencies, and performance issues in real-time
  • Optimize resource utilization and storage strategies to control cloud spend

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Experience in managing high-availability and disaster recovery setups
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments
