ESL Steel Limited is poising towards debottlenecking of its operations & has expansion plans in Jharkhand state. We are in the process of expanding in 2 phases (First phase is 1.5 MT to 3 MT) Brown field project and from 3 MT to 10 MT Green Field Project, to ensure Vedanta’s strong footprint in steel business.

Qualification - BE / B.Tech/MBA

**Roles & Responsibilities**:The incumbent will be responsible to drive the commercial strategy for integrated Steel plant. He will be Managing operations & project commercial along with Supply Chain management.
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy to support the business vision and global expansion.
- Ensure margin protection and optimization of spend base high focus on end-to-end contracts, process improvements, inventory reduction, cost optimization, automation, governance control, contract management, vendor optimization and driving innovation and digitalization in the commercial function.
- Work Closely with the Supply Chain, Logistics & S&OP teams to create world class commercial contracts and operational success.
- Drive waste to wealth potential and maximize revenue from secondary and scrap products.
- Focus on Strategic Commodity sourcing - Iron ore, coking coal, thermal coal, fluxes, Ferro alloys, refractories.
- Build demand planning strategies, production planning and inventory monitoring models for complex supply chain solutions.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive organizational growth, innovation and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain continuous engagement with all the business partner to ensure quality results and strong relationship.
- Focus on 100% online auction buying with delivered supplies.
- Evaluate opportunities for alternate sourcing and material (in partnership with R&D teams), e-commerce and outsourcing.
- Ensure robust operations and compliance in all geographies.
- Lead Commercial function and develop people through training and mentorship
