**Purpose**:
To strengthen our Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Reporting capabilities, we are seeking a Data Scientist Expert to be based in our Mumbai center.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Determine analytics requirements from business stakeholders
- Translate requirements into data requirements regarding data sources, data fields & data refresh frequency, and document those requirements
- Parse data from multiple sources - web or any other internal platforms - to help support our data analytics strategy
- Work with source system business owners and IT to create an automated data feed to the Data Warehouse
- Design the integration of new data elements in the Analytical Data Model using data marts
- Document data for end users in a data catalogue with data field lineage
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets using statistical techniques
- Create business insights from data analysis
- Create and document predictive Machine Learning models that create business value
- Track project progress in Atlassian Jira
- Support the running and maintenance of data solutions in production

**Requirements**:

- You enjoy working in a role that combines aspects of the roles of Data Scientist, Business Analyst, Data Modeler, and Data Analyst.
- Must-have skills and experience:

- Completed university studies (Master’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative field
- 5 years of experience working in a data scientist role
- Experience with data modelling and creation of data marts
- Knowledge of Digital supply chain and procurement industry
- Experience with Power Query M and DAX for Power BI
- Experience with Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Advanced SQL skills, incl. data transformation
- Experience with programming in a previous role, using Python, C/C++ or similar language
- Experience in implementing AI, ML, NLP driven projects using Python or R ML libraries
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to create clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data
- Must be able to excellently communicate in English (written & verbal), proactive and responsible way of working with high degree of quality awareness
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
