Data Scientist

**Role Description - (Mumbai Based and Immediate Joiners Preferred)**
- The Data Scientist will help us discover information hidden in vast amounts of data that allows us to make rapid, accurate and smarter decisions about Products, Marketing, Sales, Consumers, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or other functions.
- The Data Scientist will contribute their ideas and experience in new product verticals.
- The Data Scientist will be an important contributor in the inception, development, and execution of the new products / existing products
- The Data Scientist will be called upon to provide expertise on mathematical concepts and analytical processes for the broader applied analytics team and inspire the adoption of advanced analytics and data science across the organization.
- The Data Scientist will assist the Engineering team in developing a massive competitive edge in our products, services, approach, presence, and authority in our industry.
- The Data Scientist needs to be a thinker who can ask the right business questions, formulate the problem statement, visualize an appropriate technological solution, acquire & prep data, and build the solution set of algorithms for use in a production environment.
- The Data Scientist will work with the cross-functional team members in an open,

creative fashion to identify and prioritize actionable high-impact insights to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
- They will be an advisor to the business team and also look after the presales function.

**Must Have**
- Excellent mix of Statistics, Operations Research and Computer Science skills
- Excellent communication skills Preferable Experience in Ecommerce Platforms, Customer Relationship Management, Content Platform, Social Media Platforms & Sales Automation Solutions
- Build and validate statistical models and discover hidden patterns and/or correlation with other parameters in the data
- Be able to connect to disparate and diverse databases and get the data needed for analysis
- Hands on Experience in Machine learning libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras etc.
- Ability to analyze, write complex PLSQL queries to pull data out of SQL/Oracle & No SQL databases

**Good to Have**
- Solid experience in AI / ML / NLP / Deep Learning
- Strong background in Natural Language processing and related technologies NLTK, Python, WordNet and popular machine learning algorithms viz. NLP, SVP, Clustering, Collaborative Filtering etc.
- An understanding of Big Data and related technologies Snowflake, Spark, Apache Nutch, Map Reduce, NoSQL, Elastic Search, Kafka
- Interest and understanding of new & emerging technologies/tools related to search, data mining, information storage and retrieval, and product design/development
- Extremely deft at problem solving and algorithm development skills for high level business problems
- Strong experience in translating business requirements into prototype design.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Redshift. Ability to analyze, data wrangle and visualize in R Experience using tools like Tableau, Qlik for visualization. Comfortable with forecasting, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, machine learning techniques and text analysis to pull in data from unstructured text Knowledge of open source data systems like HADOOP, SPARK Time spent with Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, and NLP

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
