Everyday Checklists: Create a system of checklists and capture everyday maintenance

requirements. Train drivers and uphold practice of checking engine oil, coolant, batteries,
- Periodic Maintenance: Create a maintenance schedule for periodic maintenance of

vehicles. Checking joints, pinions, crown, tie rod ends, gearbox health, engine health.

Take identify issues in the same and come up with a resolution plan to transform from

reactive maintenance to predictive maintenance.
- Costs and Expenditure Tracking: Track maintenance expenditure per bus, and

highlight any abnormal variation. Re-negotiate with current vendors and suppliers on

spares and consumables costing and standardise purchase rates. Prime focus on
- Tyres Management: Establish a tyres maintenance best practices manual. Keep a record

of tyre running Km per bus and plan rotation / replacement / re-trading activity so as not to affect

operations. Track and diagnose overall lifetimes of tyres and its related costs. Maximise tyre life

and plan vendors with lowest costing.

ITI / Diploma with Mechanical or Automobile Diploma/Certificate -Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repairs and Service of Ashok Leyland Buses and TATA Buses (truck maintenance experience is also not objected ) -Capable of supervising & ensures vehicles and equipment are serviced, maintained, and repaired to a high standard, and supervises and assists the technicians. Managing the workflow, organising, and supervising work, and technical diagnosis. -Capable to prepare of Weekly & Monthly reports as per management requirement -To establish a vehicle wise Bus-Diary for maintenance record / servicing / repairs record for every bus. -To look into the needs of training requirements for the workers and guide them on day today maintenance practices to be followed. -To report the management about the maintenance operations on a monthly basis. -To minutely monitor and pinpoint wrong maintenance practices followed and change to correct ones. -To function as the bridge between the maintenance team and the operations team. -To ensure proper storage of scrap / waste material / waste oil / unserviceable components and help management for proper disposal / auction of the same.
