**Responsibilities**:

- seeking a passionate and dedicated Road Safety Trainer to join our team and contribute to the implementation of the ViA project aimed at promoting road and pedestrian safety among students aged 10-18 years. As a Road Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for the following:

- Imparting road and pedestrian safety training under the VIA Awareness Phase to 8000 students across 40 schools in Mumbai
- Ensuring that at least 80% of all new schools added to the project are affordable private and/or government schools, as per project agreed criteria.
- Conducting the VIA Commitment phase at all 40 schools, engaging 1300 selected students per school in risk analysis, discussions on improvements to school routes, and designing awareness posters to be shared within the school community.
- Organizing and conducting VIA Creative City events to identify winning teams for participation in national and international finals, promoting creative solutions for road safety
- Implementing ViA ambassador activities with selected students in all 40 schools to further the mission of creating safe mobility ambassadors within schools.
- Facilitating one-day in-person Training of Teachers for two teachers at city schools in Mumbai to ensure the successful execution of follow-up ambassador activities within schools
- Conducting VIA Ambassador activities for at least 500 ambassadors selected from ViA 23, following the agreed-upon plan

**Profile Requisite**:
- Experience working with children or in school environments-
- Graphics Design skills are preferred-
- Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to engage in fieldwork, interact with schools and collaborate with- school teachers-
- Ability to assist in logistic work for program events- Graduates, preferably from social sciences background.- Strong commitment to promoting road safety-
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Hindi, Marathi-
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- MS word and Excel operations and presentations-
- Good in interpersonal communication and training skills-
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in teams collaboratively-
- Demonstrable experience in road safety education or similar fields is preferred.- Minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Open to travel and field visits.

Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit, the salary range is INR 3 LPA to 4 LPA.
