**Job Description - Accounts Executive**

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Accounts Receivables & Payables**
- Manage customer invoicing, follow-up for collections, and reconciliation of outstanding accounts.
- Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Maintain aging reports and provide regular updates to management.

**2. Cash & Bank Transactions**
- Handle daily petty cash transactions and maintain proper records.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, deposits, and fund transfers.

**3. Taxation & Compliance**
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely filing of GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
- Assist in statutory audits and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws applicable to pharma sector.

**4. Financial Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports.
- Support management with MIS reports and cost analysis.

**5. Internal Controls & Coordination**
- Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and adherence to company policies.
- Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and external consultants as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements in accounting and compliance.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (M.Com/CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum 4**-5 years of accounting experience** in the **pharmaceutical industry**.
- Strong knowledge of **Accounts Receivable/Payable, GST, TDS, Taxation, and Petty Cash handling**.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
