**_Key Responsibilities: _**
- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality by the Restaurant.
- Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Helping the sous chef and to develop new dishes and menus.
- Ensuring the team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
- To ensure that junior cooks and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance.
- To ensure that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the Sous chef or head chef.
- To ensure that no horseplay is allowed in his section and that all staff under his control are treated fairly and with courtesy.
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
- To deputise in the Sous chef's absence and take charge of the kitchen when directed to do so.
- To attend training courses and seminars as and when required.
- Ensure highest levels of satisfaction, quality, operating and on an ongoing basis.
- Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business.
- Responsible for the smooth functioning of the day to day operations at the site level
- Assess quality control and adhere to hotels service standards.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹32,000.00 per month
