_JOB DESCRIPTION_

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and inspect all incoming materials:

- Verify the quantity and quality of all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect materials for any damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
- Organize and store materials in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and theft.
- Utilize appropriate storage methods to protect materials from the elements (e.g., rain, sun, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Accurately track all material issuances and maintain detailed records.
- Ensure that materials are issued only to authorized personnel with proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports.
- Monitor material usage and identify any potential shortages or overages.
- Assist with the preparation of material requisitions.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role on a construction site.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software).
- Excellent communication (English & Hindi) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
